Spring is coming and we are starting a new venture with this blog.

This blog is for all of our Ownashare owners to share, please feel free to use this format,to tell us all about your, funny tales or experiences and also, informative articles, recipes and features.

OWNASHARE BROKERAGE

Ownashare is pleased to announce that it has now launched its brokerage service. Please note that owners are not obliged to use this service if they wish to sell their share. The terms are, no-sale, no- fee, and 5% of the realised price deductible from the proceeds on completion, subject to a minimum of £200, both figures are plus VAT. If you successfully sell your share through another medium or decide to withdraw from sale having instructed Ownashare, listing fee of £50 plus VAT is payable.

We are delighted to report that our operations have commenced successfully, and we have now almost completed our round of boat surveys in advance of winter works.  Our fleet is growing steadily, and it is good to be doing what we do best – serving the customer.

I’m writing as the new Chair of Ownashare Cruising Limited.

To mark the launch of the company, we shall be holding a “Meet the Team” day at Great Haywood Marina, Mill Lane, Great Haywood Staffordshire ST18 0RQ on Saturday October 2^nd between 11am and 5pm.  We will be available to answer any questions that you have about management of your boat syndicate.

We've updated the management agreement in the secure area of the website. Login using the ID and password that was emailed to you, and you can log in and download it. It's in the same location as the previous draft which has now been removed.

Following recent misleading and inaccurate statements made in emails and by other means, the members of the Ownashare Cruising Ltd team wish, for the avoidance of doubt and concern, to re-iterate and place on record the following:

1. We are Phil Capp, Dave Taylor, Barbara Payne, Tom Houston, John Dutton, Linda French and Jeff Spencer.

2. Ownashare Cruising Ltd is independent. Shares in the company are held by each of the people named above. There are no other shareholders. There is no majority shareholding.

The company plans to launch its services in September.
