May Spectacular

What a wonderful surprise the weather has engendered.
The array of beautiful colours the pea greens of the hedge rows interspersed by pale pinks of the black thorn.
Nature has come back to life and it is such a relief to see after such a long winter.
On our last trip out I even managed to see my first ducklings and hear the wonderful noise of bird song waking you from your slumbers every morning.
This is England at its very best and cruising through this wonderland of bird song and colour is almost impossible to beat.

April warmth

April is now providing some early signs of warmth and brightness.
With Ownashares first sales event completed with wonderful success, we are now planning our early summer event.
I would like to thank the owners who regularly come along to these events to help meet new and potential owners.
We as a company are busy with our plans for the coming year and have lots of new ideas for the year ahead.
Back to the canals and holidays.
At last I feel my annual holidays are near enough to plan our first trip out.

March Spring?

Here we are on our new website and our hope is it will provide you with all the information in a more pleasing format.
The weather is starting to show that spring may be in the air, although as I write this the weather man is still talking of possible snow again!
After attending the marinas in the snow and bitter wind this winter, it will be a welcome change to meet you all with a few less layers of clothing.

February

As I write this we are on the cusp of February.

Most boats have been prepared for early spring cruising.

As owners we are fondly looking forward to our first cruise of the season.

Now it is the lovely time of sitting in a comfy arm chair canal guides at the ready deciding where we will visit this year.

Several boats are preparing to move to new pastures, some to Wigrams Turn on the Grand Union and others to Middlewich area?

It is very useful to look at the guides on www.waterscape.com

Merry Christmas

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and New Year.

The weather has turned to winter and the cold days have taken the canals to a winter wonderland.

Many boats are now winterised and sitting comfortably in their moorings.

Shared boats can still be spotted on the canals enjoying the very quiet cruising of winter.

The scenery can be amazing and the joy of those short days and long evenings of peace in front of a roaring fire.

Many shared boats will take to the water over Christmas and New Year what a special treat for this festive time of year.
