We are busy preparing for our first weeks cruising this year.
It was to be a summer cruise ! I think it is more likely to be an April shower cruise in May.
Well, as we all know, the English weather is notoriously fickle and boaters have to accept whatever it offers us.
We will be at the Crick Boat Show between June 2 and 5 at stand Q36A. We look forward to perhaps seeing you there.
We will be announcing details of our next Open Days at Bromley Wharf in the next few days.
We look forward to meeting lots of our friends and to welcoming new friends to our stand at Crick.
This is our second attendance at Crick and preparations are underway.
The weather appears to have provided us with the much needed rain, which is slowly filling up the reservoirs.
Ducklings are now being seen on the cut, bushes and trees are showing their spring growth, summer must be on the way.
Look out for butterflies on the wing, I am informed this is an indication of rising temperatures and they appear at 15oC and above.

Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of April Minuet will be open for viewing from 10 am each day with Phil ,Tom and Linda, there to welcome you and discuss your requirements.
Free refreshments will be awaiting you on your arrival.

March has arrived and nature thinks that spring is in the air!
The hedgerows and gardens are showing signs of new life emerging, birds are collecting bedding for their nests, lambs are appearing in the feilds.Flowers are bursting into existence and ready for mothering sunday the primroses are basking in the spring sunshine.
Winter has arrived with the start of the school half term holidays.
Luckly for us boat owners, if the canal is frozen, we can use our boats as a cosy floating cottage.
With all of our boats moored in rural locations close to lots of attractions it may be time to venture away from the canal and try visiting the surrounding area.
Have you visited Drayton Manor theme park,zoo, Stafford and Lichfield with lots of interesting buildings and museums.
The jewel in the crown of the area is Lichfield cathederal it is a fascinating visit.
