The canals are still very quiet you can often cruise all day with only an occasional boat n view.
With central heating and a lovely solid fuel dove on board cruising can be very nice.
It is with excitement that our owners go aboard after upgrade s during the winter maintenance.
My boat being no exception, we have had a bathroom make over taking out the old corner bath and adding a walk in shower.

In recent weeks I have received several new instructions to sell owners shares and with so few shares coming up for sale it is vital to keep checking our shares for sales page.
January sees several boats enjoying the peaceful cruising of the winter.

This is a very exciting time as we start to prepare for another year of cruising.

Our engineers are very busy doing the annual winter maintenance to ensure the shared boats are well prepared for the coming cruising season.
Sales have continued over the winter period and I will have several new shares coming available in January.

With our boats AGM now in full swing it is a great time of year for us when we meet our customers and enjoy a nice meal and discuss our boats.
This year we are meeting at The Globe on the Ashby canal, this has enabled owners to bring the boat to the meeting, now that is being very inclusive.
Most groups have already decided their moorings for next year and many boats have already moved to their new base and if the owners were lucky enough to have booked an autumn week can even enjoy an early cruise too.
Fire works and bonfires are now part of the next few weekends.
With exited and scared children enjoying the fun of halloween and fireworks.
We have watched many firework displays from our boat and at Great Haywood you can have a spectacular view of Shugborough Hall Extravaganza.
I am sure the canal moorings going up towards the lock will have a similar view this year.
