February Newsletter

As the days lengthen our thoughts turn to our holiday plans,
I have been busy talking to people about shared boating and interest in shares has increased.
Several shares have sold recently and if you wish to bag a bargain holiday share take a look on shares for sale or give me a ring 07800902323
It is one of my favorite roles helping potential owners to find their perfect shared boat.

February Cuttings

During the last few weeks we have at last seen a little more sun and it makes life on the cut come to mind.
Holidays are now starting to be planned and spring seems to be looking closer.
The nights are drawing out and the promise of the new cruising season is palpable.
My cruising guides have resurfaced and the joys of route planning are now underway.
See you all on the cut very soon

Happy New Year
Now we are gearing up for our busy sales period.
I have updated all my shares for sale and have already had inquiries.
If you are currently looking for cruising this spring on your own shared boat, now is the time to start looking.
If you would like to see all the three companies together, then add the 18th and 19th April in your diary. We will be at Dunchurch Pools Marina with lots of shared boats to view and each company available to discuss our various shared boat schemes.
I hope to meet you on the cut in 2020

Happy New Year
After all the festivities are over life can go back to a steady pace on the canals.
We are all looking forward to longer days and the signs of new life in the spring.
With weather warnings of snow and ice we know that winter is far from over yet.
The blessing this year is the water levels are high and so our 2020 cruising should be easier and less restricted than last spring.

Christmas Cuttings

Christmas is here and we are all busy getting ready and meeting up with friends.
Just take a moment to consider those you may be far from their friends and families or are on their own and offer a hand of friendship this is equally applicable to boaters.
As a group of people boaters generally are friendly but because we only go on holiday our boats don't forget those who live onboard and may be very pleased just for a chat.
I wish all of those who visit this blog a Very Merry Christmas.

Christmas newsletter

Christmas is upon us and where did 2019 go!
We went from drought to floods, the driest spring to the wettest autumn and our lovely owners still kept cruising our beautiful waterways.
With all the political goings on, the canals are a wonderful way to get away from it all and enjoy nature at its most amazing.
If you have not tried narrow boating it is a wonderful de-stressing experience.
We have some great Christmas gifts of shares at very affordable prices.

November Cuttings

Currently I am in the midst of our boats annual meetings, this is a great time for everyone to get together and enjoy each others company.
It is always a pleasure to see owners who I have maybe only spoken to on the phone, they too can put a face to the name.
It would not be much fun without the forever present talk of toilets, I do not think I have ever had a chat about boating without it ending up on the subject of toilets.
Either we are all taken back to our childhoods when lavatorial chat was king?

Currently I have three special offers.
All of these owners are sadly unable to use their shareholdings and are offering them at amazing discounts.

Adderbury (due to breavement ) is being offered at £1000 or offers considered, this boat is exceptionally well care for and has a committed syndicate of owners.

Spring and Autumn are some of the most enjoyable times to be out on the canals.
Lovely sunny, crisp mornings and glorious days with cool evenings to snuggle by a lovely warm fire.
What more could you wish for to let your mind and body recover from modern life.
Now is the perfect time to look out for fungi be aware what maybe under your feet!

Mid-autumn newsletter

The cooler days have arrived with wind and rain over the last few days.
Looking around you can see the leaves are starting to change colour and soon there will be the amazing array of reds and yellows.
Every season is amazing on the canals and keeps us all focused on the wonders of the English countryside and gardens.
With all the talk of mindfulness this is just part of daily life on a narrow boat with the slower pace and being in constant touch with the weather and your surroundings.
