A date for your diary

A long way ahead, admittedly, but Ownashare is pleased to announce that it will be holding a celebration event over the weekend of February 4^th and 5^th 2012 to mark the official opening of Bromley Wharf (near Lichfield, Staffs)  A selection of boats will be available for viewing, including our latest builds, where shares are available. Food, entertainment and a chance perhaps to meet some old friends – all are welcome and entry is free. Watch our website as details emerge!

IWA Festival

We will be attending the IWA Festival at Shobnall Fields, Burton-upon-Trent between July 29 and 31. We will not, as previously indicated, have our first new narrow boat “Minuet” with us as our boatbuilder is running about 3 weeks late. We have no wish to compromise the quality of the build by “rushing” so the boat will now be delivered to Bromley Wharf in mid-August and will be completed by the end of the month, from when viewings will be welcomed. Boat management

We have received enquiries from a number of syndicates who are considering changing their management status for 2012 – please let us know if you would like details. Even if you don’t  want to come back into a fully managed situation yet, we can still help you with your 2012 bookings. We now have finalised the appointment of one of our Syndicate Chairs to our Board of Directors, so our customers now have a direct influence in the running of the company.
