We are pleased to announce our next new boat “Heartsease,” which is being fitted out at Drayton boat services, Fazeley, Staffs. This 58ft semi-trad 4/5 bert boat is of mid-galley “reverse” layout – saloon at the stern – and 12th shares will cost £6,950.00. The finance has been provided wholly by private investors. The boat will be moored initially at Bromley Wharf.

Our leaflet campaign in May (single sheet colour A5 leaflets were inserted into that month’s edition of Waterways World and also the Crick Boat Show programme) proved successful in raising visitor numbers to our website. We have plenty of leaflets left over so please let Linda or Phil know if you would like any - they are attractively designed and anything that helps spread the word helps us all.

We had a successful weekend at Fradley Junction at the beginning of June with n/b “Forget Me Knot” and will be there again over the first 2 days of the Bank Holiday at the end of August with 3 boats. Being a “honeypot” site we find Fradley to be a good venue for events like this.

We are now beginning the circulation of 2014 booking charts for those syndicates that engage us to run their booking systems.

Finally, we look forward to meeting your syndicate delegates on the 6th, and will be in touch again shortly afterwards with a report of the meeting.
