Autumn has started this week with a distinct change of temperature.
This is the season in which our boat annual general meetings occur with owners getting together to meet and chat and decide the future of the boats mooring location upgrades and maintenance.
For the management company this is a lovely time when we actually get to see the person behind the voice on the phone and likewise for new owners they meet all of the team.
This year we started the first meetings on the 1st of October on what was a very wet day even for hardy boaters it was a day to light the fire and put the kettle on.
Our meetings are predominately held in the midlands and the 1st of October it the day that "Ride to the Wall" took place, this is an event that motor cycles from all over the UK converge at the National Arboretum near Burton On Trent.
Thousands of bikes filled the roads and it was a magnificent sight as they raised funds in memory of ex service men and women.
